  • What you can do on cold days:

    • If possible wear a sweater or layers on cold days, or keep a jacket nearby.

    • Infrared and peltier heaters are available that use about one tenth the electricity than typical models, and are much safer.

    Note: Contact Fire & Emergency Services on specific University Policies prior to purchasing or using space heaters.
