Transfer Requirements➤ Have a 2.0 or above cumulative GPA in your
college courses.
➤ Must be eligible to return to your last college or university.
➤ Complete the application form for admission by applying online at dacc.nmsu.edu/admissions or download and mail in a PDF application.
➤ Request all official college transcripts or e-transcripts.
➤ If you have fewer than 30 credits, you must meet freshman admission requirements and submit your official high school transcripts or GED results and make arrangements to take the COMPASS Assessment.

➤ Legislative Lottery (N.M. HS Graduate)Requires a 2.5 GPA and 12 completed credits during the first, regular semester of college. This scholarship covers the cost of tuition starting the second regular, semester of college. Students with a disability can contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
➤ DACC Tuition ScholarshipMust be a N.M. resident pursuing a degree or certificate at DACC. Requires a 2.5 GPA. Entering Freshman requires a high school GPA of 2.5.
➤ Dual Credit ScholarshipMust be a N.M. resident pursuing a degree or certificate at DACC. Must have been enrolled in dual credit courses at DACC and maintained a 2.5 GPA in dual credit coursework.
➤ Free Application for Federal Student AidGo to pin.edu.gov to apply for a PIN numberFill out the FREE application at fafsa.ed.gov

Discover Your First StepADMISSION REQUIREMENT
➤ Students are eligible for regular admission if they graduate from an accredited high school or its equivalent. Follow these procedures when apply-ing for admission to any program at DACC.
➤ Complete the application form for admission by applying online at dacc.nmsu.edu/admissions or download and mail in a PDF application.
➤ Submit a $20 non-refundable application fee.
➤ Request official high school and college transcripts. Applicants possessing a high school equivalency must request to have official GED test scores sent directly to the Admissions Office.
➤ Make arrangements to take the COMPASSAssessment by contacting Testing Servicesdacc.nmsu.edu/admissions/testing-services.html or call (575) 527-7569. There is no cost for thefirst assessment.
