The digipak front cover,

contains the title of the album

and the artist name. The title

(bi-on-ic) is written in a very

distinct way, it’s written the

way you would pronounce it

which gives an appealing

element. ‘Christina Aguilera’

is written and the top of the

page and in capitals this is

done to make the audience

aware of the artist.

The mise-en scene here is

her costume which is a neck

tie which has a futuristic

appeal this is emphasised

through the hairstyle which

isn’t a modern or ordinary

one. This could also suggest

the mise-en-scene in her

music videos.

The picture at the front is a

very unique and a bold one.

It embodies what her album

is about. The first song in her

album is ‘Not myself tonight’

this idea is suggested

through her face in the

digipak cover. Half of her

face is in a mechanical

structure and the other half

her normal face. This idea

suggest that through her

exterior identity she has an

inner identity and she's ‘not

her self’ which is emphasised

in the robot like interior

because the connotations of

this is not being in control.

This is a very interesting way

to suggest the message

which will engage the

audience

about the record label she is

signed to .

audience is they are fans of this

record label

The back also has a list of the

song names which feature in the

album this is useful

to the audience. There lyrics to

the sings which could attract

people to actual

In recent years, celebrities have signed contracts with perfume houses to associate their name with a signature scent, as a self-promotion campaign. The scents are then marketed; the association with the celebrity's name usually being the selling point of the campaign. Jewellery collection are the same, by linking both the perfume with the artist and their music both get increased exposure. It’s likely that the fragrance and jewellery embody the artist and what they present.
