Background
Founded in 1894 as the Northampton Instituteand gained full university status in 1966
The University has close links with the City ofLondon and plays an active role in the businessand professional life of the capital
Focus on education for the business andProfessions
We have 23,835 students from 156 countries

Launch of the Scheme36 staff accepted invite to become Fellows
Launch at annual showcase event in February 2010.
Some staff did not respond or declined the invitation: “I meant to reply” and “I have not time for extra work”.
Other staff appreciated being recognised for their practice:
“I am very grateful for your invitation to be among the first to be awarded a Learning Development Fellowship”
“I am flattered to be invited and happy to take this on.”
