dimensions and research methods do constitute a part of the research methodology.

The scope of research methodology is wider than that of research method.

Research Des6"! 9esearch design is the conceptual structure with in which research

in conducted. It constitutes the blueprint for the collection measurement and analysis

of data. 9esearch (esign includes and outline of what the researcher will do form

writing the hypothesis and it operational implication to the final analysis of data. A

research design is a framework for the study and is used as guide in collection and

analy6ing the data. It is a strategy specifying which approach will be used for

gathering and analy6ing the data. It also includes the time and cost budget since most

studies are done under these two cost budget since most studies are done under these

2. +eco(ar' (a$a! secondary data is that have been already collected and readily

from other sources. I have also collected the secondary data for research work, which

I have taken from website of these banks and newspaper.

The research design will be e%plora$or' in nature. A population of people who take

home loan from these banks will be considered for this study. I will also eplore the

impact of home loan the impact of home loan on the market share of the banks.

+AMLIN- LAN

OULATION!

The study aimed to include the customer of 3&I and B& in shahpur, in (istt .kangra

to make a comparative analysis of home loan schemes of these two banks.

+ample +"8e!

A sample si6e of ?// respondents will be taken for the current study because it

is not possible to cover the whole universe in the available time period .3o it is

necessary to take the sample si6e .In ?// respondents "/ respondents from

B& and "/ from 3&I. The samples will the peoples of age group lying

between eighteen to thirty years. The sample will be taken in the form of strata

based on age, se and income group.

The sampling techni!ue will be probabilistic sampling more specifically the

random convenient and +udgemental sampling will be used. As in probabilistic

sampling the select unit for observation with known probabilities so that

statistically sound assumptions are supported from the sample to entire

population so that we had positive probability of being selected into the

sample. I will go for stratified random sampling as we are interested to study

the home loan by 3&I and B& banks, so we will make the strata on the basis

of age, occupation, income level, gender, and from each we will go for random

sampling.

In this study I have taken information from primary sources to get their

results. There I have got filled the questionnaire from the customers and

interpret their analysis.

LIMITATION+ OF THE +TUD,

Although best of the efforts were made to conduct a perfect survey but still it faces

certain limitation. #ollowing were certain limitation of this research report-0

• The survey was conducted only on ?// respondents.

• 3ome of the respondents did not answer all the !uestions, which could hamper

the final results to a certain etent.

The ma+or limitations of the research report are as following-0

19

Page 20: Dessertation Report

7/18/2019 Dessertation Report

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/dessertation-report 20/71

1; Less $"me per"o(! As the time period that was to us was too less. In a short

time period it is very difficult to get knowledge about each G everything

related to our pro+ect.

2; Lac7 o 7o9le(6e! )onducting the research it makes it very difficult for

us to perform out task without any problem. As it was first time that we

indulge in research pro+ects or say winter training pro+ects. The lack of

eperience made the task difficult.

3; Less respose rom respo(e$s!  Cetting the information from the

respondents is also a tedious +ob. As these are many respondents that are not in

a position to tell us correct information about the pro+ects or study G also

sometimes they don%t say any interest.
