Obeying 5 Design Guidelines for building near Historical Contexts There is always a problem of agreement or disagreement about the compatibility or incompatibility with the field. This problem becomes more complicated, especially with the fact that sometimes the contrast between a building and its surrounding environment is desirable. Generally, in all circumstances, if there is a strong, clear visual relationship, instead of the imitation styles or extreme innovations, it will not cause visual disturbance. Understanding how these relationships are shaped in the past helps to find new solutions for the present and future (Brownie, Field-oriented architecture. Compatibility of New Buildings with the Old ones, 1980).

The general limitations in dealing with the historical context were examined, and the results are shown in the table below.

All of the items listed in the table are applied in design.

2 Location Location of new building along the lines of historical context Using and extending the lines of the Caravanserai facade

3 Scale - Keeping the skyline of the historic monument - Creating a break in the new building facade in order to maintain the scale

- Height between 10 and 12 meters - The length is continuously less than 60 meters

4 Shape Using shapes with appropriate geometry to the historical monument

Using square and rectangular geometric shapes

5 Materials and details

- Using similar materials with the historical monument in some areas - Avoid using modern materials

- Using irregular riverbed stone in facade - Using copper
