R-HX handpiece for uniform tissue coverageFotona’s new R-HX handpiece produces a completely flat laser beam profile that is hexagonal in shape to allow for more precise and uniform coverage. This is possible because of the latest Fotona DOE Technology (Diffractive Optical Element), which produces hexagonal laser beams and ensures homogenous distribution of the laser energy on the tissue.

Greater efficacy, safety and clinical resultsUniform tissue coverage means that there is no empty space be-tween the spots and no undesir-able overlapping. This ensures even skin coverage and superior clinical results. Homogeneity of the laser beam profile additionally increases safety during treatment since laser energy is evenly distrib-uted across the treated area.

Ergonomic design for easy spotsize selectionThe R-HX handpiece was designed with the practitioner in mind.

The handpiece can produce 3 mm, 4.5 mm and 6 mm haxagonal spotsizes. Individual spotsizes are selected by simply attaching the optic assemblies marked MIN, MED or MAX (corresponding to 3, 4.5 or 6 mm spot sizes, respectively).

The hexagonal spots are formed at the end of the spacer, which is attached to the optical assembly, enhancing visibility and allowing for easier, faster, more precise treatments.
