Allison PeartMiss Allison Peart is the Country Managing Partner and leads the Tax Practice at the Ernst & Young Office in Jamaica. With over 20 years of public accounting with professional services firms serving a wide range of clients, Miss Peart is experienced in dealing with structures for international financing and capital markets. She has worked in New York at the Canadian Tax desk for the Ernst & Young Tax Practice and spent over 10 years in Toronto providing professional services including international tax advice. Allison is a member of Council at ICAJ and serves as Chairman of the Institute’s Taxation Committee and as a member of ICAJ’s Future of the Profession Committee. She is a member of the Public Accountancy Board and also serves as a member of a number of international organizations. Miss Peart is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Commerce.

Denzil WhyteMr Denzil Whyte is Senior Manager Tax at KPMG, prior to which he was the Group Taxation & Regulatory Reporting Manager at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited. He has held the positions of Manager, Field Audit, Taxpayer Audit and Assessment Department (TAAD), now Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ); Manager, Audit Review in the Income Tax Department; Auditor, Income Tax Department; Office Services Manager at the Jamaica National Heritage Trust; Part-time Lecturer in Financial Management, Management Accounting, and Taxation at the University of the West Indies; and Part-time Lecturer in Management Accounting, and Revenue Agents Training at the Management Institute of National Development (MIND). Denzil holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies. He also serves as a member of ICAJ’s Taxation Committee.

Densil A. WilliamsMr. Densil A. Williams is Professor of International Business and Executive Director of Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) at UWI, Mona Campus. He obtained a BSc degree in Economics and Management Studies, a MSc degree in International Business from the UWI between 1996- 2001. In 2006, he obtained a Ph.D. in International Business and Strategy from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK. He is the first person in over 40 years history of Business and Management Education at UWI, Mona to be promoted to the rank of Professor. Since his first academic appointment in 2006, he has published over 50 refereed papers on economic development, small firm’s strategy and economic competitiveness in academic journals and conference proceedings. He is also the author of three books, two of which have won outstanding research awards at the UWI. In 2013 and 2015, he was awarded the prize for the most outstanding researcher in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the UWI, Mona Campus. Densil serves on a number of Boards as Chairman, Deputy Chairman and, Director in the public and private sectors in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean region.
