December 2015
Virtue of the Month: Charity
In the season of Advent, as we prepare for the
birth of Jesus, it is important to keep in mind
those that are less fortunate than us. This in-
cludes the poor in spirit and the poor in wealth,
those that are ill and the lonely. What we give
can be different for each of us. We can give
prayers, our time or even a smile. During this
season of hope and waiting, we are called to
give of ourselves to those in need. This helps
us grow in our faith.
Amen

December Message from Your Trustee
After a wonderful run of fall weather, it looks like winter has finally arrived. As we move closer to Christmas I am always reminded of how grateful we at the Board are to all the fam-ilies who have chosen a Catholic education for their children. I commend all the parents in our Catholic school communities for laying the groundwork for their children’s future suc-cess by nurturing and supporting their academic, emotional, physical and spiritual develop-ment.
I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to the students, staff and families of our Ward 3 community. I hope your season is blessed with joy as we take the time to reconnect with friends, family and loved ones. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Sal Piccininni
