Pre-Charge system
Fills the downstream equipment in a safe smooth fashion
When changing between trailers there can be a much as 240bar pressure differential
between the pressure in the new trailer being brought online and the current trailer
operating the equipment. Due to the requirement to have large orifice ball valves to
maximise trailer delivery volumes the speed that these open at cause a large shockwave of
gas entering the downstream equipment.
To eliminate the problem Bison has designed into its systems a pre-charge changeover
system which slowly fills the downstream equipment in a controlled manner before the
main line valves open.

Bison has included Eclipse high flow Valving into the
decanting system to ensure maximum delivery is
achieved at low operating pressures when the trailer
is almost empty
