The Explorer’s Class continues its series of “Faces of Faith” this morning with an interview of Marion Wright Edelman at 9:00 a.m. in the Adult Room. The class will not meet next Sunday, Dec. 26 th. The series will resume Sunday, Jan. 2nd.

The 10:30 Adult Contemporary Issues Class - Today’s topic is “Compassion’s Fruit”. The word “compassion” is used several times in the New Testament. At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus, who, we believe, embodies the character of God’s compassion. Join us in our Christmas celebration of God’s compassion.

More Than Enough - Monday morning Moms and Dads Group will begin a study of this best-selling book by Dave Ramsey on Monday, 1/10/11. Join us as we discuss this intriguing topic. “A Taste of Mingus” Cookbook - Mingus Mountain Camp is offering a book called “A Taste of Mingus.” This book celebrates the history, settings, stories and photographs of the camp and also shares true Mingus recipes. The cost is $20 with all of the proceeds going to a scholarship fund to help children and youth attend Mingus Mountain Camp. Copies of the book are available on the patio.
