Energy Efficient POWER SAVING DC INVERTER

Inverter technology allows a room to reach the required

temperature more rapidly and up to 30% more efficiently

than Constant Speed Systems. Inverter technology

also eliminates the frequent stopping and starting

often required by standard systems in order to maintain

consistent temperature conditions.

Rather than starting the motor up and stopping it

when the desired room temperature is reached, Hitachi

Inverters adjust (increase/decrease) the speed of the

compressor in order to maintain the desired temperature

in the most efficient manner.

DC COMPRESSOR AND FAN MOTOR

The “permanent magnet” motor featured in the DC

compressor maintains magnetic current without the need

for a constant source of electricity. This ensures the motor

suffers less ambient energy loss, delivering 10% greater

efficiency than equivalent AC inverters.

The outdoor fan motor also utilises a DC motor to further

improve system efficiency.

PAM SYSTEM

The Hitachi Power Active Model (PAM) Inverter System

suppresses electrical distortion to minimise power losses

to less than 1%, thereby maximising system efficiency.

Heating performance is particularly improved to

ensure efficient performance even when the ambient

temperature is -15˚C.

NEW CBC (CONDENSER BEST CONTROL) SYSTEMS

New CBC1 achieves high-efficiency cycles and lower

energy consumption.

PEACE AND QUIET

The beauty of Hitachi’s DC Inverter systems is the quiet

operation which can be attributed to innovative noise

reduction technology. The result is a hard-working,

efficient system that is amongst the quietest on the

market.

The newly designed fin and bell mouth combine to

minimise resistance for a smoother airflow through the

unit. The Delta-shaped edges on the fan deliver more

efficient air movement allowing for a smaller fan and

minimised noise levels.

Through advanced design developments, both in the fan

motor and the compressor rotor, electromagnetic noise

common in other inverter systems is significantly reduced.

ZONING

Hitachi’s ducted units can be programmed into different

zone areas. You can choose to cool or heat only the

selected zones that are being used resulting in far greater

efficiency.

R407C REFRIGERANT

The new range of Hitachi inverters feature the refrigerant

R407C. While achieving similar energy efficiency levels of

previous refrigerants, R407C is

non-toxic, non-flammable with

zero ozone depletion.

IDEAL REPLACEMENT UNIT

In many cases existing wiring, circuit breakers and

refrigerant piping can be re-used due to the unique

features of Hitachi’s DC Inverter Ducted Units (contact

Hitachi for more details).
