Action Steps – High School1. Using the NC Career Clusters document
located in C-MAPP for your content area, identify the clusters that you currently offer at your school.
2. Determine which career clusters allow students to earn CTE Concentrator status (see definitions) in your content area.
3. Examine career clusters within your content area in order to identify courses that could be offered for students to achieve CTE Concentrator status.

Action Steps – High School Cont’d4. Recommend CTE courses* that need
to be offered at your school so that students have an opportunity to earn CTE Concentrator status. Recommendations must take into consideration existing facilities, staff, space and equipment.
* Submit this information to your Department Chairperson electronically so that all recommendations can be consolidated to be submitted to [email protected] and your principal.

located in C-MAPP, identify the clusters that have courses that are currently offered at your school.
2. Identify the career clusters in your content area and courses that are available to students in grades 9 – 12.
3. Create a graduation plan (USE ONLY CTE COURSES) for a student who will achieve CTE Concentrator status using the NC Career Cluster document for your content area and Graduation Plan in C-Mapp.

Sequence Middle School” document for 2012-2013.
5. Provide comments regarding the implementation of the proposed middle school CTE scope and sequence.
