VKK Menon Indoor Stadium is owned by the District Sports Council, Kozhikode. The National Games Secretariat has renovated the Stadium by laying new maple wood flooring, introducing advanced acoustic facilities, air conditioning and intense arena lighting at a cost of Rs. 6.53 Crores.
Volleyball matches of the 35th National Games are scheduled at this Stadium from 9th – 13th February, 2015.
During the Games this Stadium will be known as JIMMY GEORGE PLAZA in honor of the legendary Volleyball player Jimmy George .
