LASER LEVELINGMACHINE

CopperHead® XD™ 3.0 Laser Screed

How A Somero CopperHead Laser Screed Works ?

The CopperHead Laser Screed works by using the same basic laser control system as the “big” laser screeds. Some of the electronic components are different, but the key principle remains the same.

The CopperHead itself differs from other laser screeds in some very unique ways.

Al-Hadaf Co. execute concrete floors using laser leveling technology to cut the concrete to a finished grade, screed it flat and vibrate it smooth in one pass.

It is the right choice to get a better performance, when there are difficult application such as chaired rebar, low slump concrete or poor subgrades.

PowerRake® 2.0

How A Somero PowerRake Works ?

The PowerRake makes your job easier by taking the back-breaking work out of raking concrete. Enjoy ride-on convenience and great maneuverability.

The PowerRake is a 4 wheel drive, ride-on, hydraulic powered concrete grading machine and it’s so easy to operate that your crew will be proficient with it in minutes.

The PowerRake was developed to allow a single operator the ability to rake more concrete in less time, with no manual labor.

Revolutionary in concept, its unique design allows the operator to ride-on the machine and rake the “dumped” concrete down to grade. The Power Rake can grade material to +/- ¼” accuracy.

The PowerRake is designed to work with all screeding equipment; from the 2 x 4 to the handheld vibrating screeds on up to the Copperhead and even the large screeds.

STAMPED CONCRETE

Stamped Concrete is concrete that is patterned and/or textured to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, wood and various other patterns and textures. Stamped Concrete is commonly used for patios, sidewalks, driveways, and floors. The ability of stamped concrete to resemble other building materials makes stamped concrete a less expensive alternative of using those other materials.

11

There are three procedures used in stamped concrete which separate it from other concrete procedures; the addition of a base color, the addition of an accent color, and stamping a pattern into the concrete. These three procedures provide stamped concrete with a color and shape similar to the natural building material.

STAMPED CONCRETE STAMPED CONCRETE Method of application

The concrete surface should be floated using a wood or magnesium “Bull-float” prior to the application of the Mitcocolor Hardener. Spread two third of the required quantity onto the concrete surface and allow the material to absors moisture from concrete. When the slab has an even, solid color appearance , the surface should be floated as above. Using a steel trowel, the surface should be trowelled well to elim nate any float marks and to achieve the final finish.Prior to imprinting, the trowelled slab should be covered with Mi copowder Release agent at a rate of 120 gm/m². The crew should be equipped with a minimum of 6 or more mats and a floppy. Adequate and enough hand tools should be available to complete the whole area. Using a reference line, begin by placing the first mats using this line and move across the slab. When stamping, the mats should be tamped without delay. The finished slab should be left for a minimum of 2 days to set. All excess powder release agent should be brushed off and then cleaned using pressurized water. The slab must be completely dry before the sealer coat is applied. The surface must be sealed using Mitco seal at a rate of 6-8 m²/liter.

Application rate

Materials should be applied at the following rates:Mitcocolor Hardener: 3-5 kg/m², depending on color.Mitcopowder Release: 120 gm/m².Mitco Sealer: 6-8 m²/liter, depending on concrete porosity.

EPOXY & POLYURETHANE

Your concrete floor needs coating because it should be:

- Seamless and wear resistant.- Non dusting and easily cleanable.- Impermeable to oil, water and chemicals.- Hygienic.- Aesthetic for improved productivity.

Stucco - Mitcoplaster 600

Stucco, or portland cement plaster, is a versatile facing material that can be applied to flat or curved surfaces either inside or outside any building or structure.

Stucco has great appeal as a surface finish because of its utility, low first cost, and minimum need for maintenance.

In its hardened state, plaster is a desirable facing material: hard, strong, fire-resistant, and color-retentive.

Because plaster is also breathable, or able to transmit moisture vapor, water that gets behind it does not become trapped. That makes it resistant to rot and fungus. Plaster has proved to be a durable wall cover in all climates, whether wet, dry, hot, or cold.

22

Page 23: dar alfan

23

Stucco is a beautiful exterior that has a Mediterranean style.

The mixture for stucco is comprised of several baseingredients, as well as sand that are all mixed with water.

Once applied, the stucco material hardens, giving the homea beautiful appearance and unique texture.

For instance, it is common to find stucco used onSpanish style homes, making them distinctive overother homes.

However, stucco can be applied to any style home, changing and updated the overall look.

Method of applicationmaterial

The national standard for traditional stucco application can be found in ASTM C 926. This standard defines the requirements for mix portions application and curing. In wood frame construction a typical application consists of three coats.,The first is a scratch coat followed by a brown coat and then a finish coat for a total thickness of 7/8-inch. It should be noted that the 2003 International Residential Code requires a minimum thickness of 3/4-inch..

The building code recognizes alternative methods and materials for various types of construction. Products that have received a numbered evaluation report from ICC Evaluation Service would fall under the category of “alternate materials”. There are several proprietary “onecoat “ systems that have an ICC Evaluation Service listing. These products typically come premixed and may be applied in one coat with a second topcoat being applied at a later time. Always check the manufacturer’s installation instruction for proper application technique.

24

Page 25: dar alfan

25

There are several types of acceptable top coats. Some are a portland based finish while others are acrylic, elastomeric and even latex. The contractor should be aware of potential incompatibility between some of the finishes and the base coat(s) due to alkalinity of the stucco.
