MARKET WRAP

Turmeric extends downtrend

RM seed extends uptrend on strong demand

Soy oil up on positive global cues

Chana ends up on fresh buying

Jeera ends down due to supply concerns

Guar seed ends down on profit booking

Pepper surges on fresh buying

RM Seed is expected to trade sideways to positive in intraday market due to strong

fundamentals and higher demand outlook. Also, weak sowing and lower arrival could

support the prices in the near term. Cardamom prices are expected to trade sideways to

negative due to subdued demand in the physical market and higher arrival. Chana is

expected to trade sideways to positive due to lower arrivals in the market and fresh

buying at lower levels. Also, better demand outlook ahead of festivals will support the

prices in the near term. Soy oil edged down due to weak global cues and demand

outlook and is expected to trade sideways to negative in intraday. Jeera ended down on

supply concerns and is expected to trade sideways to negative; also, downfall in export

demand can pressurize the prices in the near term. Pepper prices in intraday is

expected to trade sideways to up due to lower arrival in the market while supply crunch

and fresh buying will support the prices in near term. Though, profit booking at higher

level could cap its gains.
