MARKET WRAP

Chana extends uptrend on bargain buying

Turmeric ends marginally up

Guar seed regains on weak sowing

Pepper ends up on supply pressures

Soy oil ends higher on global cues

Cardamom rebounds on short covering

Jeera ends higher due to lower arrivals

Soybean ends up on firm demand

Turmeric is expected to trade sideways to negative due to poor demand

from the domestic market while short covering can support prices in near term.

Jeera in intraday is expected to trade sideways to up due to lower arrival in the market

while its neckline of head and shoulder pattern on the daily chart will also support

the prices at lower level. Pepper futures are expected to trade sideways to positive

due to limited stocks available in the market while exports demand will also support the

prices in the near term. Guar seed is expected to trade sideways to up due to

fresh buying by the traders on the back of lower acreage are, also, expectation of

exports picking up in the near term will support the prices at lower level.

Chana futures is expected to trade positive to sideways due to bargain buying at lower

level owing to better demand in the physical market ahead of festivals and lower arrival.
