The Improvement Board of Polemi (hereinafter referred to as " the Board ") shall be at liberty to borrow from thie Loan Commissioners (herein- after referred to as " the Lenders ") a sum not exceeding three hundred and fifty pounds (L350) at a rate of interest not exceeding four per centurn (4%) per annum, subject to the following terms and conditions, that is to say :-

(a) the sum borrowed shall be repayable by the Board to the Lenders in eight equal annual instalments (comprising sinking fund and interest) ;

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 19. Whereas the Governor by notification No. 186 in Supplement No. 3

to the Gazette of the 3rd July, 1947, declared the construction of a power station, offices, workmen’s quarters and any other erections or structures considered to be necessary in connection with a scheme for the generation and supply of electricity in Cyprus, to be an undertaking of public utility;

And whereas the Governor, by notification No. 326 in Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the 30th October, 1947, sanctioned the acquisition of, inter alia, the properties described in the schedule below for the said undertaking ;

And whereas the said properties are no longer required for the purpose for which they were acquired ;

RULES MADE BY THE VILLAGE HEALTH COMMISSION OF AYIOS ERMOLAOS UNDER SECTION 9.

In exercise of the powers vested in them by section 9 ( I ) (c) of the Public Health (Villages) Law, the Village Health Commission of Ayios Ermolaos hereby make the following rules :-

I. These rules may be cited as the Village Health (Ayios Ermolaos) Gazette: (Amendment) Rules, 1954, and shall be read as one with the Village Health (Ayios Ermolaos) Rules, 1938 (hereinafter referred to as " the principal 1,7:1938. Rules ") and the principal Rules and these rules may together be cited as the Village Health (Ayios Ermolaos) Rules, 1938 and 1954.

Village Supplies Law, the Water Commission of Melanarga village, in the District of Famagusta, hereby make the following bye-laws :-

1. These bye-laws may be cited as the Village Domestic Water Supply (Melanarga) Bye-laws, 1954.

2.-(1) Subject to the provisions of paragraphs (2) and (3) of this bye-law, the Village Domestic Water Supply (Elea) Bye-laws, 1950, published in the Gazette of 1st November, 1950, shall--

(a) be deemed to be bye-laws made by the Water Commission of Melanarga

(b) apply to the village of Melanarga. (2) The bye-laws set out in Part I of the Schedule hereto shall be substituted for the

Bye-law 2.-In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires-

Bye-law 12.-The Water Commission shall, in every year, fix a uniform rate not exceeding

twenty shillings to be paid by every householder in the village for the maintenance of the water supply. Bye-law 13.-The Water Commission shall, not later than the 3 1st of July, in each year, post
