This guide describes the setup procedures of KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) separately for the systemadministrator and for users.
The following licenses are required for using KUNAI for BlackBerry(R):

Your system administrators must install Remote Service on the server.
Install Remote Service on the server from which you can access your product.
You do not need to install Remote Service again if it has been installed for other usages.

Installing KUNAI for BlackBerry(R)
Download KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) from the Cybozu products website, and then install KUNAI forBlackBerry(R) on your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone.
The user added when logging in cannot be changed later. To change the login user, editthe settings of your Smartphone on Remote Service.
Changing a user of Cybozu Remote Service
To install KUNAI for BlackBerry(R), you must insert a microSD card to your Smartphone.
Account informationEnter the account of the product you want to connect in the account information field. Youcannot use the account of your Keitai.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
To use KUNAI for BlackBerry(R), you must set the login name on your product.
A pop-up window will be displayed for setting the application permission while you aredownloading KUNAI for BlackBerry(R).When the application permission has not been set yet, the application permissionconfirmation screen will be displayed once each data sync starts.

Download KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) to your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone.The latest KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) can be obtained from Product website.
On the "Download KUNAI" screen, select "Set Application Permissions" andthen select "Download".
On the "Permissions: KUNAI" screen, set "Connections" to "Allow".
On "Application Permissions" pop-up box, select "Yes".
Start any application, and verify the serial number of your Smartphone.

Set your Smartphone on Remote Service.To add your Smartphone to Remote Service, use the serial number displayed on Step 3 of theoperation procedure.

Uninstalling KUNAI for BlackBerry(R)
Uninstall KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) from your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone.
To uninstall all applications completely, you must delete all of the following information:
Applications
Synced address data
Database files in microSD
To uninstall any application of your choice completely, you must delete all of the following information:
The corresponding application
The corresponding database file in microSD
Select any application, press Menu key, and then select "Delete".
Select "Delete" for deleting the application.
Restart your Smartphone if required.
Start the address book, and reset its synced data.To uninstall any application of your choice, you do not need to remove the synced data in the addressbook. Proceed to Step 5 directly.
Reseting data
Select "Media", press Menu key, and then select "Explore".
Select "Media Card" > "BlackBerry" > "kunai", press Menu key, and thenselect "Delete".To uninstall any application of your choice, select "Media Card" > "BlackBerry" > "kunai" >"databases", and select the corresponding database, press Menu key, and then select "Delete".

Basic usage of KUNAI for BlackBerry(R)
This page describes the basic operation of KUNAI for BlackBerry(R).
Due to the different system administration settings of the product, some applications maynot be available for using. Contact the system administrator for details.

Changing display language
On your Smartphone, change the screen display language of KUNAI for BlackBerry(R).
For the settings method, refer to the manual of your Smartphone.
The following languages are supported by KUNAI for BlackBerry(R):
Japanese
English
Chinese
When you set a language that is not supported by KUNAI for BlackBerry(R), Japanese will be used asthe display language instead.
KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) supports all the time zones of your Smartphone, and supportsdaylight saving time as well.
When you have changed the time zone on your Smartphone, the appointment time andmail received time will also be changed accordingly.
Logging in
Enter the password, and then access the Cybozu products via Remote Service from your Smartphone.
You must login once after the initialization. And you will no longer need to login for using the product.
Press Menu key, and select (Downloads), and then select any
application.

Enter the password, and authenticate the product.Enter the product password in "Password" field.
Press Menu key, and select "Set".
Syncing data
Sync the data of Cybozu products and KUNAI for BlackBerry(R).
Select any application on your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone.
Press Menu key, and select "Sync now".
Global roamingWhen you are using global roaming for communication, you may pay substantialcommunication fee. You can edit the setting on "Personal settings" screen to stop the syncwhile global roaming.
Setting sync conditions
Some data such as the changes to mail account information is synced only once a day. Tosync such information at once, you must turn off your Smartphone and turn on it again,and then sync the data. The data to be synchronized on the first sync of the day is asfollows:

When an appointment is drawing near, alarm information will be displayed on HOME.

In personal settings, you can change the alarm time or set it to "No alarm".

Adding a file
Add a file to the body and comment.
Only one file can be added at one time.
Display "Compose" screen for E-mail, "Compose message" screen, or"Details" screen for Message.When a file has already been added to the body of a message, select "Attachments"of "Attachment"field to display "Attachments" screen.For adding a comment to a message, display "New comment" screen.
Select"Attachments" of "Attachment" field.Or press Menu key and then select "Add attachment" to add a file.For removing the file you have selected, press Menu key and then select "Remove attachment".
Select a file you want to add.
To remove the file you have added to the message body, clear the check box of the file on"Attachments" screen and press Menu key, and then select "Apply".
Selecting users
Select users from a group.
Display the user selection screen.If any user has already been selected, select Add User.
Select the target group.Select Up one level to return to the previous screen.
Select the target users, press Menu key, and then select "Add".
On "Selected" screen, press Menu key, and then select "Apply".

Viewing appointments
View the appointments on KUNAI for BlackBerry(R).
Only those data synced to KUNAI for BlackBerry(R) can be viewed.
The appointments can be displayed in the following ways:
Day planner

Notifications
On your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone, start (Schedule).
Press Menu key to switch the appointments display.
View the appointments.

Displaying all kinds of appointmentsOne day is divided into nine different time ranges for displaying the appointments.When any appointment has been added to a time range, No appointment will bechanged to Have an appointment .Confirm the added appointments in the following time ranges: 0-8, 8-10, 10-12,12-14, 14-16, 16-18, 18-20, 20-22, 22-24.

Search the appointment which specific user has attended and specific organization has been added to.
Using the appointment searching function, view the appointments of other users after selecting specificappointment on the results screen.
Press Menu key on the "Appointments" screen, and select "Find".
Press Menu key after setting the search conditions, and select "Search".The following information can be set as the search conditions for searching appointments:

Select any appointment on the results screen to view its details.To attend an appointment, press Menu key and select "Attend".
Only one user or organization can be selected for searching appointments.
Finding available time for adding an appointment

Specify the condition, and then search available time for adding a new appointment.
Press Menu key on "Appointments" screen, and select "Find availabletimes".
Press Menu key after setting the search conditions, and select "Search".The following information can be set as the search condition for finding available time.

FacilitiesSelect whether to use one or use all of the specified facilities.

Confirm the available time for adding an appointment.Select the available time on "Results" screen, press Menu key and select "New appointment" to add anew appointment.

Tentative appointment
Repeating appointmentsRepeating appointments can be added when JST has been set as the time zone onyour BlackBerry(R) Smartphone.
Note for using Office 8
A deadline must be set for adding a repeating appointment.
One year will be set as the period when no deadline has been set for the repeatingappointment added on your product.
Press Menu key on "Appointments" screen, select "New appointment".
Enter the necessary information and press Menu key, and then select "Newappointment".To add a new appointment, the following information can be entered:

Press Menu key on "Details" screen and select "Reuse".
Select "New" on "Day planner" screen.
Press Menu key on "Day planner" screen, and select "New appointment".
Select a date and time on "Results" screen of finding available time, press Menu keyand select "New appointment".
Editing an appointment
Edit the appointment contents.
On "Details" screen, when you change only the attendants and facilities, the added datawill not be updated. To change the data, press Menu key after changing each item, andselect "Update changes".
The following appointments cannot be edited on KUNAI for BlackBerry(R):
Private appointments of which "Public to" is set
Repeating appointmentsHowever, repeating appointments can be edited when JST has been set as the timezone on your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone.
Display "Details" screen.
Edit the necessary information and press Menu key, and then select "Updatechanges".
Sync the data.

What is Queue?
Tentative appointmentOn "Appointments" screen, the appointment of which the subject is in grey is a tentativeappointment whose date has not been set.Display "Details" screen, press Menu key after selecting the date you want to set, andselect "Set date" to set a date for the tentatvie appointment. For removing a proposeddate, press Menu key after selecting the date you want to delete, and select "Deleteproposed date".
Leaving an appointment
Leave the appointment that you have attended.
Press Menu key on "Details" screen, and select "Leave".To leave a repeating appointment, you must select from the following items:
Leave (this time (date))
Leave (after this time (date))
Leave (All)
Sync the data.When the data cannot be synced, you can select select whether to move the data to queue. There willdisplay before the appointment to be synced on "Day planner" screen.
What is Queue?
Setting a date for a tentative appointment
Set a date for a tentative appointment.
The date set for a tentative appointment cannot be changed to the other proposed datesany more.
Display "Details" screen.
Select a date you want to set in "Proposed dates" field, press Menu key andselect "Set date".

Sync the data.When the data cannot be synced, you can select whether to move the data to queue. There willdisplay before the appointment to be synced on "Day planner" screen.
What is Queue?
In Step 2, you can select a proposed date you want to delete and press Menu key, andthen select "Delete proposed date" to change the proposed dates for the tentativeappointment. However, the appointment is still a tentative appointment until you set adate from the proposed dates.

Change the personal settings of Scheduler.
On your BlackBerry(R) Smartphone, start (Schedule).
Press Menu key, and select "Personal settings".
Select "Schedule" in "Application settings" field.
Set the necessary information and press Menu key, and then select "Set".

Reseting data
