Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI). This is a technology that is able to measure distances between continents at 0.1 mm level, which for example is used for space navigation. My tasks were to develop a software development kit and algorithms to handle the large measurement data files from the VLBI observations. I was also challenged with a lot of other exciting assignments that included a lot of physics and problem solving.
