“ DH SeriesKOMAREK also offers heavy-duty DH Series Machines with wide horizontal roll shafts supported by bearings to provide better control for briquetting materials such as coal, charcoal, metal oxides as well as numerous other chemicals and ores. These machines are designed for briquetting 50-60 tons per hour.

BH SeriesOur BH Series machines are the only briquetting and compacting roll presses on the market with a cantilevered design and horizontal rolls that allow for a gravity feed.

Compaction/Granulation Systems Compaction/Granulation SystemsThe process of taking fine powders and compressing them into uniform, solid-shape compacts prior to sizing of particles or granules:

• Provides uniform granules that are required for proper blending applications• Reduces volume• Stabilizes mixtures during handling• Eliminates/reduces dust• Reduces packing, storage and transportation costs• Improves product performance

Similar in design to our roll briquetters, KOMAREK’s custom roll compactors use a higher compaction pressure and specialized product shape to produce a suitable compacted material. This allows materials to be compacted into stick-shaped agglomerates, or flat or corrugated sheets for granulation.

Tailoring the System to Your NeedsTypical compaction/granulation plants include special auxiliary equipment used for milling, screening, mixing, deaeration and material handling. This equipment needs to be properly selected and designed to ensure proper operating conditions and quality product.

KOMAREK provides assistance with the complete design of compaction/granulation plants to operate under various conditions and ensure all equipment is well-suited to your specifications. Our compaction/granulation systems can also be designed with special corrosion-resistant materials such as Hastelloy®, Inconel® or other materials as required to meet your needs.

In spite of all the things that could break down when you run gritty material 16 hours a day, five days a week, the

only real downtime we’ve had is the scheduled regular preventive
