RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

2014 -16 Streamside Environmental Factors and Occurrence of Breeding Behaviors of Ebony Jewelwing, (Calopteryx, maculata) in South Brook. Funded by Adrian Tinsley Program semester grant. Undergraduate research experience capturing and marking ebony jewelwings in a local stream. Hobo probes were deployed in the stream to record ambient light and temperature. Stream discharge was used measured using using a Marsh-McBirney Flowmate flowmeter. Excel was used to analyze occurrence of mating behaviors and correlations to habitat variables
