We know you have them: Holiday and New Year’s toys! iPads, digital cameras, phones, new computers. We are poised to get you up and running. In addition to what’s in the following pages, consider one of the following new classes:

Did You Get an iPad for Christmas? Thinking about getting one?Come join us and PLAY! We have a lab of iPads ready for play. Or bring your own! We will focus on setting up email, taking and emailing photos (or uploading to Facebook), using notes and notifications, exploring the settings, and finding out about this iCloud backup option. We will also explore the application (app) store, including setting up an iTunes account to purchase apps if you so choose. If there is time, we will create a short movie via iMovie; believe it or not, anyone can do it in 20 minutes or less! So come have fun. Saturday, 2/2/13 from 9-2 in Room 09: Regular Course Code: 204253; Active Adults Course Code: 086374.

Get Those Digital Photos Off Your Camera or Phone and onto Something Useful! You have a new camera or phone camera and it’s full of photos. What do you do after you take those pictures? Join us in Adult Ed’s unique dual computer lab (you can use an apple or a PC). We will teach you to transfer photos and share them with all of your friends. We will demystify Facebook, hang out on Flickr, and help you couch your memories on YouTube. In addition, our paranoid, safety conscious staff will get you started on having an easy backup plan that will protect your memories and be accessible to you and only those whom you choose. Join us. It’s easy. Saturday, 2/9/13 from 9-2 in Room 10: Regular Course Code: 204249; Active Adults Course Code: 086375.

FACEBOOK: I’d like to try it!Do you have kids or grandkids communicating via Facebook? Join in. It’s easy and fun. Facebook is the largest social media venue for communicating digitally. You can post photos and videos, invite people to events, see what is happening with friends and family. There are important privacy settings and some simple do’s and don’ts that will make your experience enjoyable and connecting. Come set up YOUR Facebook account and get up-and-running in less than three hours. Saturday, 2/9/13 from 11-2 in Room 10: Regular Course Code: 204252; Active Adults Course Code: 086373.
