Trip to Portsmouth History Dockyards

CTC is organising a visit to Portsmouth Historic Dock-yard. If you would like to join the group and have a great day out while visi ng one of the most amazing sites of Bri sh history, then please register with Mrs Botha or Mr Merone by no later than Monday 26 Sep-tember. There will be a mee ng on Wednesday 28 September to finalise all the details

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is an ideal day. Ask anyone to name the most famous warships in the world and the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior 1860 are sure to feature - the favourite of Henry VIII, Nelson's victor at the Battle of Tra-falgar and the ship that never fired a shot in anger during 10 years of sea domination. New for summer 2016 is the reo-pening of the Mary Rose Museum on July 20th and brand new inter-pretation of Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory. Add 800 years of history at the Na-tional Museum Royal Navy Ports-mouth, an interactive showcase of the modern Royal Navy, WWI vessel HMS Monitor M33, Action Stations, a boat tour of Portsmouth and a tru-ly memorable maritime day out with your friends is to be had at Ports-mouth Historic Dockyard.

CTC is organising a Paint-ball excursion on Saturday 15 October 2016. If you would like to join the group and have a great day out with the oppor-tunity to work as a team and shoot some of your friends, then please regis-ter with Mrs Botha or Mr Merone before Mon-day 3 October. There will be a mee ng on Wednesday 5 October to finalise all the details.

This enormous facility boasts 50 acres of themed outdoor Paintball excitement - with five unreal game maps to dominate. Be prepared to storm our epic Afghan fort, infiltrate village compounds, rescue VIP's and death-match over remaining re-sources in our fallout 'wasteland'. These are just some of the thrilling scenarios on our playlist. You'll be armed with the best gear, supervised by experts and targeted by mates. Time to clock in to the battlefield. Full day players will receive a Hot Papa Johns Pizza for lunch. A music system is also on site for your entertainment when taking a break from the action. Our canteen provide refreshments throughout the day.

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. It is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen, whose standard flag flies from the Round Tower when she is in residence. Windsor is still very much a working royal palace. The Castle is used regularly for ceremonial and State occasions. It is here that The Queen often hosts State Visits from overseas monarchs and presidents.
