Australia may be a young country but its Indigenous inhabitants, the Australian Aborigines, have one of the longest-surviving culturesin the world. CSUs regional campuses are located within the areaoccupied by NSWs largest Aboriginal group, the Wiradjuri. CSUacknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which itscampuses are located, paying respect to the Elders, both past andpresent, and extending that respect to all Indigenous Australians.
Travel opportunities within Australia are endless. From the tropicalrainforests in Queensland to the vast open deserts of the NorthernTerritory and the Snowy Mountains of southern NSW, the Australianlandscape has much to offer. Due to its physical isolation fromother countries, Australia is also home to many plants and animals
that are not found anywhere else in the world, such as thewell-known kangaroo, which can often be seen in the grounds ofCSUs regional campuses.

"Living on campus has been fun, meeting new
people. Its great when I come home feeling really tired
and seeing happy faces just lifts my mood. Its also
really convenient when you have an essay due and
you're only 10 minutes' walk from all the resources.
I feel like my course is preparing me for the
workforce. The lecturers are committed, friendly and
very approachable, which makes studies a lot easier.
We often have guest lecturers who share with us their
experience in the dietetics field, giving us a broader
understanding of what dietitians do.
"My first clinical placement provided me a great
learning experience and it helped me know that I
was on the right track. This has been one of the
best decisions I have made in my life. I would truly
recommend it.

Course: Bachelor of Physiotherapy
I chose to study Physiotherapy at CSU because it
had a good reputation and Albury-Wodonga had all
the attractions of a big city without the costs.
Living and studying in a smaller community has also
allowed me to meet many different people. I haveshared a house with an Australian and a Korean, so
we exposed each other to new styles of cooking and
each others cultures.
Everyone here is so friendly and it is very easy to
get involved in social activities. I am a member of the
Physio Club, which has provided a great opportunity
to meet other physiotherapy students and take
advantage of some of the extra-curricular activities
available in the local area.
Its not just the other students who are friendly
though. The teachers are very friendly and accessible
