SIGHTSEEINGTHE PADDAN TOUR –GOTHENBURG FROM THE WATERStep aboard in the centre of the city at Kungsportsplatsen and see the old moat and canals that date from the 17th century while learning about the history of the city’s construction and defense. THE ANCHOR CLUB The Finnish Seamen’s Service (FSS) and Finnish Seamen’s Mission (FSM) run a drop-in center for seafarers at Hernesaari. Our club is called the Cruise Crew Lounge Anchor (the Anchor Club) and is located in the pavilion on Quay 2 (LHG). Vessels moored at other quays are also served at the club. Crew members are offered communication, guide, transportation and sports services. There is Wi-Fi in the small canteen, and currency exchange can also be arranged. The Anchor Club is open daily until the end of August, whenever a cruise ship is moored at Hernesaari.
