IB testing Feb 1 at 3pm or Feb 3 at 10am

You will be contacted for an interview

Students in full PDP may choose the IB

Diploma Programme. You may also pick up to

three courses.

IB Certificate Programme

Students may select up to 3 IB courses at

course planning.

Students must have written the IB test or

currently be taking a PDP course.

All Certificate students will be waitlisted and

placed depending upon space.

ELL Students and IB Diploma

If you are an ELL student and would like to be

considered for full IB, you need to write the

test and email Ms Pohn

(jpohn@wvschools.ca).

Ms. Pohn will interview you in June.

Students can select IB courses if they are

currently taking the PDP level course.

Some require minimum English & Math marks.

SFU: Math 11 60%

English 12 70%

UBC: English 11 or 12 70%

UBC and SFU have Second Language

requirements: UBC Second Language 11

Admission to UBC will be based on:

1. Overall Academic Ability: an Overall Average

will be calculated based on academic Grade

11/12 courses

2. Program Specific Aptitude: a Core Average will

be calculated on program related courses

3. Key Courses: pre-requisite courses and course

specific minima. Depth and Breadth is

considered

4. Personal Profile: short answers and activity list

SFU General Admission

Admission requirements:

1. Minimum 5 approved grade 12s including English
