Course Outcome:

To acquire knowledge about importance of manufacturing process and basic classification of

manufacturing processes.

To understand different types of manufacturing processes and to differentiate conventional and

non-conventional machining.

Applying the processes like casting, forging, welding and forming processes to manufacture a

product used in day to day life.

To analyze, how to reduce the time for the machining and also to produce a product

economically.
