County Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed nineteenth-century building located close to Kingston upon Thames Town Centre. This commanding building is the perfect setting for your special day and offers a memorable backdrop with its outstanding character and original features.

Licensed for Civil Weddings and Partnership Ceremonies, the building with its stunning architecture and large inner Courtyard make it an idyllic setting for any wedding. With our combination of splendid rooms, that offer grandeur for ceremonies small or large and excellent customer service from our experienced events team, you need look no further than County Hall.

County Hall is fitting for both the ceremony and the reception where couples and their guests can have exclusive use of the licensed rooms and Courtyard for their wedding. Whether you choose the Grand Hall or one of our more intimate rooms, you will be well catered for in this special location.

County Hall is ideal for both small, intimate celebrations to the larger ceremonies and receptions which can accommodate up to 250 guests.

The Grand Entrance HallYou’re guaranteed to make a grand entrance from the moment you set foot in County Hall. Pass through the majestic oak doors and you are in the entrance hall, which is dominated by a striking stone staircase and original mosaic flooring. Light streams through stained glass windows making it a perfect setting for a photograph capturing the start of your celebration. From the entrance hall you proceed to the room of your choice. We prepare the room so it is perfect for your needs, whether it be theatre style, fully-seated cabaret-style dining or buffet receptions.

The Grand HallThe most impressive of all our registered rooms, this Victorian style room with the sweeping stone staircase overlooked by a magnificent stained glass window is a stunning venue for a wedding ceremony or reception. 120 guests can be accommodated for a dining event and up to 150 for a ceremony.

The Ashcombe SuiteOverlooking the inner courtyard the Ashcombe Suite is a large, bright and versatile room. The Committee RoomsFor a more intimate and exclusive ceremony, our Committee rooms offer an exceptional setting. These rooms have retained many of their original features including oak panelling, decorative ceilings and impressive fireplaces. These rooms are particularly suited for private dining receptions.

County Hall is licensed for civil weddings and civil partnerships. We have a range of rooms available for your ceremony, depending on the number of guests, wedding style and requirements.

Ceremonies at County Hall occur on Saturday, Sunday, and some bank holidays.

We have a range of stunning areas which are available for your photography.

Please contact us for viewings and current availability. All wedding ceremonies are conducted by the local registrars service.

Once a date has been provisionally booked with ourselves you should then make independent arrangements with Kingston Register Office who perform all our marriage and partnership ceremonies.

Only running one wedding each day County Hall is a flexible venue like no other. With a range of rooms to offer for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception you can create a truly bespoke day.

We offer exclusive use of the licensed areas of County Hall.

C A T E R I N G

Catering is provided separately by our external caterers. These companies know the venue and how things work best, they can provide everything for your meal. They are highly professional caterers and event organisers who provide an excellent service combined with delicious and beautifully presented food.

We offer a choice of superb specialist caterers. For an idea of some of the menus that can be provided or to chat directly with either of the caterers please feel free to contact us for additional information.

Here at County Hall we understand that weddings can be costly, although our caterers can supply the Champagne and Wine for your special day, we do not charge corkage which means you are also able to supply your own drinks which the caterers will be happy to serve with your wedding.
