The people of Corpus Christi beseech your benevolence upon our Capital Campaign. As we look to the past our hearts are full of gratitude for the faithful generosity of our ancestors. They built a holy house for your glory, the celebration of your Holy Word and Sacrament. Today, we look to meet the needs of the People of God and the desire we have to improve this holy house for future generations. Inspire us to walk in faith as we look forward to the fulfillment of our hopes and plans. Affirm us in the commitment we make to Know Jesus, Love like Jesus, and Live like Jesus, who gave his life as a living sacrifice for others. May the temporal sacrifices we make today become our legacy to evangelize the future generation of Catholics within this holy house. Give us trust in place of fear. Give joy to sharing our gifts with our parish family. Grant us the blessing of your Mercy upon our Capital Campaign. Amen.

Corpus Christi Catholic Church

Campaign PrayerDear God, you are the giver of all good things human and Divine.

Amen.

OUR PLANAs the new Pastor of Corpus Christi in 2015, Father Rodriguez invited parishioners to share general concerns with him in the hope of making improvements. One repeated concern was the overall challenges our current campus layout presents. Father then initiated a Town Hall meeting as well as conducted a Parish Survey in 2016 to determine the priorities of our parishioners. As result, Kirby-Smith was hired to conduct a feasibility study regarding our parish’s ability to support a building project. A Building Committee was then formed and has been working with the Diocese of Harrisburg, the Borough of Chambersburg, Brechbill-Helman Construction Company, and Noelker & Hull Architects to develop a design/build plan that would address the needs of our present and future parish life.

To date, we have received full permission by the Diocese of Harrisburg as well as the Borough of Chambersburg to proceed with our plan. In order to reach our goal, our parishioners must FULLY FUND each phase before it can begin. There will be no loans taken nor debt incurred by this project. It will be accomplished as the funds are available.
