1 Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip

The TRAC assists in applications by providing a temporary control point to hold the windlass while engaging the tri-ring. This is especially helpful for one-handed applications, resulting in faster application times and doubling the security of the device in combination with the tri-ring during patient movements.

The RISE™(RigidImmobilizationSystemforExtremities) is designed to be intuitively applied under stress to match the injury present as a straight splint, 90-degree splint, or pelvic binder. It can be easily secured to the patient with items such as an elastic wrap or pressure bandage.

Its innovative design features dynamic living hinges that allow it to collapse into the smallest form factor for maximum portability and kit space savings. The hinges allow you to form-fit to the required shape and dimensions for proper splinting on both upper and lower extremities. Unique to the RISE™, multiple cutout slots provide you the capability to create a pelvic binder when paired windlass or ratcheting tourniquet such as our SOF® Tourniquet.

The BLAST® Bandage provides a 20” x 20” treatment area in the size of a 4” combat bandage. Our non-adherent wound pad provides a sterile protective covering large enough for the entire back or chest of most casualties for shrapnel wounds or burns. It can be easily wrapped around limbs and secured with the attached elastic wrap, which features “brakes” to help prevent accidental unrolling during high stress application, provide multiple points of adhesion to prevent slippage during the wrapping process, and decrease the chance of the wound being exposed during movement. The BLAST® Bandage also provides a removable occlusive layer that will cover a 19” x 19” area or can be used to cover abdominal contents, minimizing the loss of heat and moisture.

Just as in our OLAES® and BLAST® Bandages, the Control Wrap includes a series of brakes that prevent accidental unrolling during application. The brakes also provide grip surfaces during the wrapping process and assist in maintaining the desired pressure and position of the bandage. This is extremely helpful when changing angles during the wrapping process or if bandaging awkward injuries. By preventing accidental unrolling, you minimize the risks of contaminating a clean bandage, wasting a bandage due to contamination, losing time while managing loose ends, and losing pressure after applying the bandage due to shifting material.

As the practice of pushing medical personnel into the “warm zone” of a mass casualty scenario becomes more prominent, so has the need to equip these medics with the right tools for this challenging task. The TacMed™ Warm Zone Kit is designed for quick and efficient treatment and triage of victims in a mass casualty scenario. It can be worn around the waist, slung over the shoulder for rapid movement, or attached to a panel via the MOLLE attaching straps. The Warm Zone Bag utilizes an adjustable draw bridge system that allows the user to control how far the front flap opens, allowing easy access to the bag’s complete contents. The interior of the bag is completely modular, allowing the user to adjust supplies based on their specific preferences.

The Tac Med Drop Leg IFAK Pouch was designed specifically for Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The pouch provides the law enforcement officer with maximum flexibility without compromising the ability to provide on target care. This pouch is worn on the leg and attaches directly to the officers belt or to a tourniquet pouch worn on the belt. When worn with the tourniquet pouch, the detachable lower portion of the IFAK provides for additional medical capabilities if the situation dictates, while having the tourniquet available for instant access on the officers belt. This pouch is offered stocked based on different levels of medical capabilities. All kits can also be custom packed to meet your specific mission requirements.

The TacMed™ Patrol Rifle Response Kit offers the individual patrol officer the ability to have the necessary components for those emergency situations immediately available to them, without the added difficulty of performing reloads from an uncooperative sling bag. Internally, the contents allow for the effective treatment of life-threatening wounds, while externally, the pouch can hold (2) 30 round M4/AR15-style magazines and has MOLLE-attaching surface on the face to allow for the addition of equipment. The system can be worn full-time or detached from the duty belt using the integrated buckles and quickly snapped on during times of crisis. It is also fully compatible with our TacMed™ Patrol Trauma Response Pouch and select belt-mounted tourniquet holders (sold separately).

The TacMed Solutions Operator IFAK has a well-laid out interior and full-zip opening for rapid easy access to all components. The IFAK contents allow for the effective treatment of injuries commonly associated with combat trauma without taking up excess space on individual equipment. MOLLE straps on the back provide convenient mounting options. Gripper elastic on the bottom of the pouch provides an extra place to store quick-access equipment such as your tourniquet. Velcro on the front provides a place to adhere an ID patch, such as a MED patch and or Bleeding Control Patch.

The TacMed™ Downed Officer Kit is a compact kit that contains the items essential for treatment of serious injuries encountered by law enforcement and military personnel. The DOK is compact enough to fit in a cargo pocket or glove box. It can also mount to a roll bar/ protective shield in a patrol car or tactical vehicle.

The DOK is packed in a heavyweight re-sealable bag allowing easy replacement of individual kit items. Kit components can also be periodically inspected without damaging the integrity of the packaging. The TacMed™ Uniformed Medical Kit (UMK) 2nd Generation builds upon the success of the first generation UMK. The UMK 2nd Generation greatly decreases the signature of the device over the original by moving the medical gear and pockets behind a flat panel, eliminating any imprinting under the officer’s duty shirt. In addition, the UMK 2nd Gen increases comfort and durability as it reduces the thickness of the device with a new material that stretches to the shape of the officer’s vest. The new design allows the UMK 2nd Gen to fit ANY concealed body armor carrier that utilizes hook and loop straps, plus the sides can be trimmed for a custom fit.
