o To assure the potential buyer that while the concept of the Volt is still relatively new, it offers all

the functions of the cars they are used to with significantly fewer fuel costs and a smaller

individual carbon footprint.

o The Volt is a responsible, reliable, enjoyable, and cost-effective answer to all one’s driving needs.

It’s not just a short-distance commuter vehicle.

o Predominantly male from 25 -45, no children with an average income of 100K – 150k and who is

a tech-savvy professional. They want attractive and reliable transportation that is cutting edge and

socially responsible. They appreciate the “bells and whistles” that they have become accustomed

to in other vehicles. While these buyers might be traditional early adopters, they still need some

assurances that this car will be what will work for them. They probably also enjoy standing out

as “pioneers” a bit from other people in their lives.
