We will be making our second trip to Morganton NC to continue the investigation of the Brown Mountain Lights. This trip we will be viewing the phenomenon from three different locations. A number of other experiments and some new techniques will be tried out to see if we can at least narrow down the scope of the investigation. If anyone has seen the lights we would like to hear from them as we catalog a number of eyewitness reports. Of course photos of the phenomenon are always a plus. The best times for viewing the lights are late October thru November, but the lights are viewed year round, they just seem to be more pronounced in the fall with clear skies and cooler weather.

Brown Mountain Lights Phenomenon

The Brown Mountain Lights are a series of ghost lights reported near Brown Mountain inNorth Carolina. The lights can be seen from the Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks at mile posts 310 (Brown Mountain Light overlook) and 301 (Green Mountain overlook) and from the (Brown Mountain Overlook) on NC Highway 181 between Morganton, NC and Linville, NC. Additionally, good sightings of the Lights have been reported from the top of Table Rock, outside of Morganton, NC.

Reports of odd lights continued, and a more formal US Geological Survey study began in 1922, which determined that witnesses had misidentified automobile or train lights, fires, or mundane stationary lights. However, according to a marker on theBlue Ridge Parkway, a massive flood struck the area soon after the completion of the USGS study; all electrical power was lost and trains were inoperative for a period of time thereafter. Several automotive bridges were also washed out. The Brown Mountain lights, however, continued to appear.

One of the best vantage points, Wisemans View, is about 4 miles fromLinville Falls, NC, and the best time of year to see them is reportedly September through early November.

UFORCOP has joined forces with ARIRA, Aerospace Research Investigation Reporting Agency, UFO Research of North America, UFO Clearinghouse, and the Institute of Frontier Science as partner sites in the search for the truth. UFORCOP MOBILE UNITS Based in Eastern and Western Pennsylvania allow us to cover any call within a matter of a few hours. The equipment on board is the best we could get and is constantly being updated. Hopefully in the next few months we can add an ATV to expand our capabilities in the field.

UFORCOP MOBILE UNIT #2 Qual Comm Global Star Satellite Communications have been added to our mobile unit, along with a Garmin GPS and two new IF Night Vision Systems, and in August a Ladder Rack, Emergency LED Warning Lights, Ladders and Repelling Gear were added, along with mobile and portable communications and a multi-band scanner. A 3500 Watt gasoline generator was also installed. We have mounted a

military grade laptop computer in October with a satellite link up. A TIF portable gas detector has also been added. PARANORMAL UFORCOP will be going to Gettysburg in the autumn of 2011 to do a paranormal investigation of strange things reported at that location. Animal mutilations

• A typical animal mutilation may involve any or all of the following:

• The removal of eyes, udders and sexual organs very cleanly with surgical precision.

• The removal of the anus to a depth of around 12 inches similar in appearance to surgical coring.

• The removal of the lips and/or tongue deeply cut out from the throat.

• The removal of one ear.

• The removal of major organs (such as heart or liver) with no obvious entry/excision marks. Often, if the heart is missing, apart from no excision wound, the Pericardium will still be present and intact, with the heart missing.

• The stripping of hide and flesh from the jaw and the area directly beneath the ear to the bone.

• The removal of soft organs from the lower body.

• The presence of incisions and cuts across the body that appear to have been made by a surgical instrument.

• Unexplained damage to remaining organs, but no sign of damage to the surrounding area.

• A lack of predator signs (including teethmarks, tearing of the skin or flesh, or animal footprints) on or around the carcass.

• Lack of obvious scavenging.

• In many cases, a draining of the majority of blood from the animal. What blood is left exhibits color anomalies and may not coagulate for days.

• The animal will appear 'dumped' or dropped in a secluded area, with no animal, human or vehicle track(s) leading to or from the site. Some have been found draped over fences or in treetops.

• The ground under the animal appears depressed, as if the animal was dropped on the site from a height leaving an impact crater.

• The animal's bones found to be fractured with injuries consistent with being dropped.

• Strange marks/holes in the ground around the carcass.

• Other cattle and predators avoid the carcass and the area where it's found.

• Eyewitness reports of aerial objects in the vicinity of cattle at the time of an animal going missing. UFO’s and Black Helicopters are the most common.

CHARLES HIXSON, ALIEN ABDUCTEE DIES IN MISSISSIPPI

MISSISSIPPI – Charles Hickson, who was abducted by aliens in 1973, has died. The Mississippi man who he was abducted and probed by aliens while he was fishing with a friend, Calvin Parker Jr., in 1973 and never backed off the story despite the ridicule he endured, has died. Hickson, 80, died of a heart attack, his family said. Hickson, then 42, was fishing with 19-year-old Calvin Parker Jr. on a pier near Pascagoula, Mississippi in October 1973 when a cigar-shaped UFO with flashing blue lights suddenly appeared above them. The men claim to have been abducted by aliens.
