    From La Rioja, a region steeped in wine tradition par excellence, we presenta new product with its own style, a product created from a thousand-year-old tradition; that of the production of wines and spirits.

    The barrel, being an essential element in the production process of greatwines and spirits, unites a wide range of properties in its interior which areideal for the grilling of vegetables, meat and fish.

    Using a wine making recipe, after treatment developed and carried out byour company, tired and tested by the La Rioja Grape and Wine ResearchInstitute, the outcome is this product for barbecue grilling with an excellentresult for our product.

    The wine is aged in barrels made of toasted oak. During the ageing process,the wine is elaborated inside the wood, giving it its characteristic colour andtaste. This taste and aroma remains inside the barrels after these have beenemptied. Some of these barrels are made into wood Chips.

    You will not only get the strong aroma of oak wood smoke, but also thearoma, properties and essence of the wine.

    Oak wood from red wine barrels which give an extraordinary flavouradddirectly on top of the firewood and the charcoal.(To give the food moreintense flavour only use the staves, without any other type of firewood orcharcoal).

    To smoke, take the staves, light them and leave them to burn to create

    embers.

    OAK CHIPS BBQ

    OAK CHIPS BBQ are small wood chips designed principally to give life to your barbecue

    and allow you to experience fantastic flavours in your grilled food. OAK CHIPS BBQ

    infuse and intensify the flavours and aromas of the wine ageing process creating

    surprising results for the palate.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

    Choose the necessary amount of Chips to use. (We recommend 250 gr per groupof 4 people)

    Leave the chips to soak for 15-20 minutes.

    Drain the water (you can also use wine) still present on the chips.

    When the charcoal or wood is properly lit and at the right temperature, place the

    soaked chips in their aluminium tray on top of the charcoal. If you are using a

    gas barbecue place the tray over the heat.

    If your barbecue uses a wood fire you can tip the OAK CHIPS directly on top of

    this wood, removing them from the tray, this action is recommended during the

    last few minutes of cooking of the meat.

    If your barbecue has a lid we recommend closing this so that the meat is well

    smoked with the aroma of the wine-soaked wood.

    We recommend the use of OAK STAVES as fire-starting firewood to achieve anintensified flavour for your barbecues.

    OAK GRIT BBQ

    OAK GRIT BBQ is the essence of the wood in powder, uniting all the potency of the

    wine and the oak wood, designed for the exquisiteness of barbecue cooking, thus mak-ing its entrance in the world of gourmet, experimenting with a world of properties in

    previously unknown flavours. OAK GRIT BBQ infuses and intensifies the aromas of the

    wine ageing process creating a universe of flavours on the palate.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

    Choose the necessary amount of OAK GRIT to use. (We recommend 250 gr per

    group of 4 people.

    Leave the chips to soak for 10-15 minutes.

    Drain the water (you can also use wine) still present on the OAK GRIT.

    When the charcoal or wood (1) is properly lit and at the right temperature, place

    the soaked chips in their aluminium tray on top of the charcoal. If you are using a

    gas barbecue place the tray over the heat.
