Front Cover
Masthead:The masthead is conventional for this particular magazine, it’s a single letter so it stands out. Although it’s a single letter it still stands out on the front cover significantly.
Route of The Eye: This is very conventional
for this magazine because you get to see the masthead, and then the cover story and finally the advertisement.
Cover Story: The cover stories are
used to inform the reader of what is going on in the magazine.
Images:
There will always be a well known artist on the front cover to grab the readers attention. This is very conventional.
It is conventional for music magazines to have special offers in order to persuade the audience to buy the magazine.
The colours used are very conventional for this magazine because it it mainly red and white, simple but also looks professional

magazine because it contains everything you need to know from a contents masthead.
Coverlines:
The coverlines are conventional for this because they use their colour scheme and also inform.
Images:
The images are conventional, they make the page more interesting and can also inform.

The colours used are conventional because they go with the same colour scheme, red and white. This makes the magazine look professional and also looks good for the readers.
Subscriptions:
Every magazine has subscriptions so it is conventional because I have never seen a magazine without a subscription.

Headlines are conventional for a double page spread to inform the reader of what is
happening on these pages.
Image:
It is conventional for a double page spread to have an image. Normally it will be one image that covers one side of the double page spread.
Layout:
The layout is particularly conventional, text on one side with the image on the other.

Pull Quotes are conventional in a double page spread because they are appropriate and link in with the story that is being told
