2. 2. Title Sequence A title sequence is used by all films by which credits production and cast members are displayed like credits whilst using sound and visuals. The most important members of the production are listed in the opening credits and they are either superimposed over the action or on a blank screen. Often there is also music with the OTS. Overall this is meant to establish character, mood or atmosphere, setting and genre.
