The Information Resource Center

(IRC) is an information resource space located within the American Embassy

in Dakar. We provide factual and programs about the United States.

Our center focuses on American

history, politics, society and culture as well as bilateral relations between the

United States and Senegal.

IRC Membership is FREE. To become a member, fill out the IRC Membership Form, bring it to the U.S. Embassy’s main entrance along with 2 pictures and a photocopy of an identification (ID) card.

The IRC provides access to an unlimited amount of information through our exclusive

online databases and print collections.

The e-LibraryUSA database provides millions of articles, books, and videos on all subjects. Our special collections support English language teaching and learning.

Share America contains information about American policy and perspectives, as well as American studies and culture. IRC Members may use our center to do research, browse the internet, engage on social media, read, learn, and explore!
