Dubai City √ There are construction works across the Creek but due to the distance it's minimal visual disturbance. ongoing Fairmont Hotel Dubai Dubai City √ √ The construction of the new Conrad Dubai Hotel beside the Fairmont Hotel is in progress - working 24hrs, all day, cranes and trucks. There is visual disturbance, but limited noise disturbance at the pool side. Sep'12 Flora Grand Hotel Dubai City √ Construction taking place on the opposite plot of land to the hotel is on going. Work is progressing and the site is screened off. So far no heavy equipment is involved but trucks can be seen. Most of the work is done during daylight. There is no major disturbance ongoing Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai Beach √ Refurbishment of 188 rooms in the south wing of hotel and some corridors is currently underway.Restaurants located on this side of the hotel - Der Keller, Dhow & Anchor and the Premium Leisure Club - will also be renovated The newly furnished rooms will include increased space in the bathroom with separate WC, double vanity, rain shower, 47 inch LCD TV, iPod docking station, complimentary wireless internet connection, a coffee machine, touch control panels, IP telephone systems, motion sensors for energy saving, LED lights, multi-socket auxiliary panel, motorized curtains, a sofa-bed in each room and a repositionable desk. The completion of this phase of the refurbishment program is anticipated for the end of September 2012. All other guest facilities such as the restaurants, Conference Centre, main pools, Sinbad’s Kids Club, Pavilion Sports Centre and the Marina are unaffected and will remain open for business. Every effort will be made to keep the disturbance from the renovations to a minimum, with the main work being carried out between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Sep'12 Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Palm Jumeirah √ Construction and works still continue on The Palm Jumeirah. Therefore there is some visual disturbance from some parts of the hotel. From the left side of the hotel, there is half constructed building of The Taj Hotel but no activities happening on site for months as project is on hold now. Construction of a new shop at the right most end of Royal Residences. There are 2 cranes and some heavy equipment that might affect guests staying the Residences only. Nearby villas are closed for clients. 2012 Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai Beach √ √ Extension of The Ritz Carlton building is already at it's final stages - shaped building, complete facade and rooftop, internal works works and construction of 2 swimming pools. Guests may hear intermittent noise from the garden area and beach, which are far down from the construction area. Tower rooms have direct view on the construction. Working time - 24hours, all days Jul'12 Madinat Jumeirah Dubai Beach √ Enhancement and nourishing of the beach area in front of the Gulf Summerhouses at Dar Al Masyaf. Heavy equipment is used to re- claim land from the sea, change the sand and enlarge the beach. Working days from Sun to Thursday, working hours are from 8 am- 5 pm. Sea view rooms in Gulf villas are mostly affected by noise and visual disturbance. Completed Marina View Hotel Apartments Dubai City √ Construction of new building from the left side of the hotel. Foundations are laid plus one crane, however nothing hapenning so far. Project has been frozen. Guests my experience visual distrubance from rooms facing the construction side. Ongoing Dubai Metro successfully operates 2 lines (Green and Red) and almost all operational metro stations. New projects which will add to the existing rail network : -Al Sufouh Tram Animation -On completion, the tram will link with the Dubai Metro at three stations along Sheikh Zayed Road and will also tie-up with the monorail on the Palm Jumeirah. UAE IN GENERAL The Jumeirah Beach Residence, Jumeirah Walk and Burj Khalifa -Downtown are completed and fully functional. Metropolitan Hotel Dubai Dubai CityThe hotel is going to be close out for major refurbishment effective 15th March 2012 and till further notice. The restructuring is a part of a complete redesigning of the property - a mega project which would initiate from the 15th March 2012.

Meydan Hotel Dubai City √Meydan Hotel, situated on the premises of Meydan race course is now open. The Race course is also now open and functional. Some infrastructure works are still going on in the surrounding area

Movenpick Deira Dubai City √ √ Almost completed construction of the new metro station in front of the hotel. Road works are ongoing so there are some noise and visual disturbance that can be noticed while in front of the hotel. No clear entrance to the hotel.
