To share or not to share... that is the question. Well, I ask you this: What is the point of a life well lived, if not shared? The writers, photographers, promoters and creative thinkers that make up the Connextions team, all understand the meaning of sharing. A travel writer thoroughly enjoys traveling, and maybe just as much, enjoys telling others of the experiences. A photographer shares the beauty as seen through the eyes, or rather, the lense. And we all know that the best experiences shared are those with a personal touch.
Connextions was conceived with this concept in mind. To share our personal experiences with others. I know I speak for the whole group when I say that we are grateful to you, our readers, for allowing us to “share”.
In this annual PRIDE Issue, we have featured 45 different pride festivals that take place around the Country. Most of which wouldn’t be possible without all the volunteers who share their personal time to make them happen.
Our travel highlights include David’s island hopping adventures in Hawaii; Manny’s gay family memories in 3 Massachusetts resorts; and Edward’s round-up of Astoria, New York’s newest gayborhood.
Personally, I would like to share that my experiences for the past 7 months have been wrapped up in a pretty pink breast cancer ribbon, and I offer a HUGE thank you to the Connextions team and the many wonderfully loyal readers who have been so supportive.
As always, thanks for taking the time to flip through Connextions Magazine and cheers to a great summer filled with pride!
