Dallas, TX - Jim Lager’s, owner of PIRTEK Love Field, and General Manager Bill Lesswing’s mindset to ‘Never Say No’ to their customers and having everything in stock to be able to service a large job at a moment’s notice are just a couple of reasons why PIRTEK Love Field has grown at a phenomenal rate. In order to continue to provide an ETA of 1 hour and keep up with customer demand, Jim and Bill have been growing this business one Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU) at a time. They currently have 9 MSSUs on the road servicing industries such as construction, manufacturing, rental equipment, transportation and recycling.

PIRTEK Love Field was recently awarded a contract with a rail company to replace damaged and worn hoses on all their track repair equipment. The hoses are replaced during equipment rotational downtime.

In August alone the Center manufactured 1,000 hose assemblies in a variety of sizes which included 700 hose assemblies manufactured by three technicians in four days. The rail company has stated that they have already noticed an increase in their operation time.

Demands from customers, such as the rail company, have driven PIRTEK Love Field to not only increase their number of MSSUs, but expand into a larger area. Jim Lager plans on opening a second Center in Fort Worth, Texas before the end of the year. He will add an additional van to have a total of 10 MSSUs on the road servicing the Dallas Fort Worth area. Jim states,

they will continue to be able to accept large jobs while servicing the needs of their existing customers. Customer service takes precedence at PIRTEK Love Field whether in the shop or out of the van.

Jim Lager and Bill Lesswing feel like they are just scratching the surface in the local market. With the addition of the second Center they will be able to focus on other industries like scrap yards, manufacturing/production and companies with government contracts.

600, carries an extensive range of products and provides a while you wait over-the-counter service for custom built hose assemblies. Specialty products such as custom air

conditioning hoses, hydraulic steel tube bending and flaring, tube fittings, gauges, pressure wash equipment and on-board oil filtration systems are available on site or over the counter. In addition, PIRTEK can provide on site preventative maintenance plans for customers in all industries.

PIRTEK Becomes a Member of the American Recyclers AssociationMany companies in the scrap and recycling industry rely on equipment with hydraulic systems. Recently PIRTEK joined the Automotive Recyclers Association to generate awareness about the services offered by PIRTEK to scrap and recycling companies.

Established 1943, the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) has represented their industry dedicated to the efficient removal and reuse of automotive parts, and the safe disposal of inoperable motor vehicles. The association services approximately 1,000 member companies through direct membership and over 2,000 other companies through affiliated chapters. Suppliers of equipment and services to this industry complete ARA’s membership.

PIRTEK Sky Harbor Receives Appreciation for a Job Well DonePhoenix, AZ Many times these days we ask ourselves this question…Where has genuine and honest customer service gone? Well, I am here to tell you that it has found a home at PIRTEK Sky Harbor Fluid Transfer Solutions.

Let me tell you how Terry Titus and the owner, Stewart Bartlett came to my rescue. Several days ago, I had the unfortunate experience of having a hydraulic line burst on a wheelchair lift in my van rendering it inoperable. Because of the age of the unit (20+ years), I knew it would be a challenge finding replacement parts and service. I called at least a dozen different companies involved in the mobility and handicap equipment markets to look for help and the responses I received ranged from mildly helpful to apathetic. I soon discovered I would need to turn to a hydraulic line specialist to have the hoses replaced. After calling several hydraulic and hose companies in the Phoenix area, I was met with the same indifferent responses… until I called PIRTEK!

I spoke with Tony Stevens, Mobile Sales and Service Technician, and explained my situation. Without hesitation, he immediately said to bring my van down to their shop and they would do the work while I waited. I was elated to get that great news.

Here’s where it gets even better. I brought my van down to their shop the next day and was greeted by Terry Titus, Technical Sales Representative. He listened to my dilemma and worked his tech schedule so that one of his men would be able to come back to the shop from being out in the field to work on my wheelchair lift. Within 45 minutes they had replaced both hoses with newly built lines. Because the system had lost so much fluid from the hose break, there was not enough pressure to lift the very heavy gate once it was repaired. Even though he had never worked on a wheelchair lift unit before, Terry continued to help get me up and running by researching the hydraulic fluid system, the type of fluid needed and how to refill the reservoir while at the same time making sure the shop was still running smoothly and phones answered quickly. He researched the specific type of fluid needed for the unit and found local retailers I could get it from. Altogether, Terry and Stewart worked on my lift for almost 3 hours in 100 degree heat no less.

I cannot be more grateful to Terry and Stewart for their time and support. They bring to their company the type of customer service and attention that restores your faith in humanity. I get the feeling I am not the only customer who has experienced this incredible level of service and care from this company. PIRTEK should be proud of these gentlemen and of this franchise.
