In 2019 we had a stand at LASER World of PHOTONICS for the fi rst time to present our components and solutions for infrared detectors and infrared spectroscopy. As a new exhibitor we had many interesting conversations and were able to make valuable contacts in the industry. We found that mobile measuring systems and complete solutions are a current trend topic. We have fully achieved our objectives for the trade fair and we look forward to building on this success in 2021.

Two dedicated conferences on Optical Metrology and ImagingIn 2019, two conferences on optical metrology and sensor technology were held within the framework of the World of Photonics Congress: The latest research findings in the areas of optical measurement systems, modeling, videometry and industrial image processing were presented at the Optical Metrology conference, organized by SPIE Europe.
The Imaging and Applied Optics Conference, organized by OSA, provided an overview of the latest developments in imaging and applied optical sciences.
As the industry’s leading scientific platform, the World of Photonics Congress offers extensive insights into the world of photonics while acting as an interfacebetween theory and practice. For 63% of all exhibitors at the fair, congress participants are an important target group, and 58% stated that they mainly want to address visitors from science and research with their exhibits.
