SAFETY REFLECTIVE BELTS Beth Sholom has joined a growing number of Shuls in mak-ing available to our members safety reflective belts for use in walking home at night on Shabbat. The statistics are star-tling: every 8 minutes a pedestrian is struck by a vehicle in the USA. Wearing reflective apparel is proven to reduce visually-impaired accidents by as much as 45%. Any mem-ber who wishes to take advantage of these reflective belts can find them in a basket in the Shul lobby after Maariv on Fridays & Saturdays.

Use of these belts is on the honor system: Take one when you need it, & return it at your convenience.
