Missionary of the Month: David & Barbara Bush serve as missionaries in Hong Kong and Macau at the Lutheran School for the Deaf. David teaches religion classes and American Sign Language as well as helps students with English. David helps raise up leaders in the Deaf community and in the Deaf church. Pray that the Lord opens the hearts of the Deaf students and people in Hong Kong and Macau to come to faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Pray that the people will want to become baptized and active in making disciples.

If you can tie a knot, your help is needed. In the past, our quilts have been delivered to these countries: India, Armenia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Lebanon and Chile. Think about the impact 181 quilts have had on the world. Help us make a bigger impact by volunteering to “Tack” a quilt. Call the church office for more information. Adult Bible Study beginning April 11th at 10:30 am. Drive Thru History, Ancient History series makes exploring the history of Western Civilization meaningful and totally entertaining at the same time. With Dave Stotts as your guide, you'll definitely enjoy the ride. In this first series Dave travels to Rome, where he discovers early Roman ruins and runs into a Roman Centurion guard. He travels to the land of the Parthenon, Alexander the Great, and classic philosophy! You'll have a front-row seat for more adventure, more laughs, and more history as you drive to cities and ancient ruins in Turkey that are truly off the beaten path.

Boy Scout BBQ is making a come-back this year! Orders are due no later than May 1st! BBQ will be ready to pick up the weekend of May 15th. Watch for more information to come. BBQ is $10/lb. Noah Hedrick is doing a “Make a Difference Project” for his 7th Grade Religion class at Concordia. The deadline for the food/paper goods drive is April 18th. He will be taking all the donated items to Highways and Hedges on April 19th. He will be assisting with packing food and toiletry bags to be handed out on the 19th. He will be putting the deposit boxes in the narthex of the church and the entrance of praise service as well as school office. Monetary donations can be given to school office or church office in an envelope labeled Highways and Hedges Make a Difference project. Any money collected will be used to purchase fresh fruit, paper towels, and toilet paper to be distributed at Highways and Hedges. Portals of Prayer - If you would like to renew your subscription to Portals of Prayer, please let the church office know before April 4th Easter Sunday. Renewal fees are $9.60/year for the Pocket size, $15.00/year for the Digest size, and $15.90/year for the Large-print edition. The church provides large print editions for all of our shut-ins. If you want to be a new subscriber, the price above applies to new subscriptions also.

It's a great opportunity for a round of golf and to socialize with other parents and supporters of Christian education. This year the auction will be an Online Auction, so everyone can participate! Bid on some great adventures, ticketed events, and the coveted one-of-a-kind classroom art projects. Details will be coming soon regarding how to access the online auction.

Do you like getting surprises in the mail? Yes, we all do. Let us celebrate Spring with a commitment to pray for someone while coloring a card. Coloring cards are available at all of the worship stations and in the Children’s Ministry email bundle. If you would like to send a Prayer Card to one of our shut in’s, contact the church office for an address.

Beginning April 11th the Board of Christian Ed is offering a Sunday school time at 10:30 am. Jeri Alice Carter will be teaching the toddlers – preschoolers. Julie Moser will be leading the kindergarten – 4th grades and Mrs. Bost will continue to have Zoom time.

On Easter Sunday AFTER each service, Concordia Kids can hunt Easter eggs in the Horseshoe area. So before you head home, bring a basket and fill it with eggs.

What does your Faith Walk look like? What is a Faith Walk? At Open Studio you will learn about Faith Art, Scripture Doodles and Visual Faith journaling and so much more. Kids 4th grades and older and Adults are welcome to attend weekly guided activities. Leaders are Susan Harman and Belinda Bost meeting in Adult Room #2 in the Sunday school wing of the church from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Bring your Bible and your mask. If you would like to meet on Saturday at 3pm, please let the church office know.
