    Republic Welding was established in 1911 George Sotsky purchased Republic Welding in 1970 after retiring from the Marine Corps.

    Republic Diesel, Republic Industries, Republic Pneumatics, Republic Machine, were all created out of the Republic Welding group.

    Republic Industries begins making shredders in 1997, built 250 Shredders for ReTech 1997-01 primarily in the wood industry.

    ReTech name sold to Vecoplan, Republic Machine is born in 2004 and begins building shredders under Republic Machine brand with focus in plastics

    Acquired by IPEG in April 2013 Manufacturing moved from Louisville to Franklin, PA in 2015 Engineering company that has helped to shape the single shaft shredder industry as we know it

    Proper procedure for sending test material to be followed Conair test request form must be submitted ahead of every trial or test ALL test material is to be sent freight PREPAID to Franklin All returned material that requires LTL will be shipped freight collect Identify if material is being sent for machine sizing or for testing Goals for testing, throughput, machine sizing, regrind quality Material type and required screen size Video necessary? Regrind sample/complete material returned to customer? Timing tests are run every Wednesday afternoon unless other arrangements are made
