Solarix CertificatesWe are aware of the importance of regular quality inspections of our components and cables used by our customers in their networks. Therefore we have Solarix products regularly tested by independent laboratories. Certificates issued by these testing authorities are important part of the Solarix product support as they guarantee to our customers that Solarix products are reliable and problem free. All Solarix certificates are available for download at www.solarix.cz.

CPRSolarix installation cables have been classified according to the EU regulation No. 305/2011 (so-called CPR). In addition to the usual reaction-to-fire classes (i.e. Fca, Eca, Dca), Solarix structured cabling offers Cca and B2ca rated cables regularly inspected by an independent notified body in the AVCP 1+ mode.

Solarix Product Labels

The clear identification of all Solarix products is very important both to us and our customers. Therefore, each individual Solarix product is marked by a product label with its order code, product name, packaging amount, and bar code. For copper and fibre optic cables, a production batch number is shown on all Solarix labels as well as other information required by EU legislation, such as a reaction to fire class for each cable type, a declaration of performance unique number, harmonized standards, and the CE marking.

RacksFor networks racks including all accessories (i.e. shelves, ventilation units etc.) a standard warranty of 2 years is applied.

Guarantee of immediate product exchangeThe Solarix standard warranty guarantees an immediate replacement of any malfunctioning Solarix component, either on-site with our local distributor or by a courier.

System WarrantyCopper cablingThe system warranty for all Solarix copper installation cables and components used at a single installation guarantees the fulfilling of performance parameters for a period of 30 years. The conditions for providing such warranty are available at www.solarix.cz.

Fibre optic cablingThe system warranty for all Solarix optical cables and components used at a single installation guarantees the fulfilling of performance parameters for a period of 20 years. The conditions for providing such warranty are available at www.solarix.cz.

Guarantee of immediate product exchangeBased on fulfilling the Solarix system warranty conditions, we will issue a certificate with extended warranty of 30 years. If during this period, the electric parameters of installed Solarix components deviate from the values declared by the standards, we will arrange for their immediate replacement.

Solarix Certification TrainingWho is the training intended for?This type of training is intended mainly for installation companies.

When and where does the training take place?The training is usually organized twice a year in Prague and Brno. It is a two day event.

What will you learn on the training?In addition to the theoretical knowledge, Solarix trainings put emphasis on practical skills needed for installing structured cabling components, their testing, failed tests handling etc. The training is divided into the following parts:

A) Day 1• Introduction to structured cabling I. – history of computer networks, network topology, standards overview, categories and classes• Introduction to structured cabling II. – cable constructions, principle of signal transfer, testing topologies, performance parameters, what to do in case the test results fail• Solarix cabling system – introduction to Solarix products, their technical parameters and key features• Trends in structured cabling – what is new in structured cabling, what to expect in the near future (e.g. Category 8.1 a 8.2, protocols 10GBASE-T, 25GBASE-T, 40GBASE-T etc.)• Installing structured cabling – most important procedures and technical information on installing structured cabling• Practical part – installation and testing• Final test

B) Day 2• Fiber optics part I. – principles of transmitting optical signals, optical fibre types and their use in practice, constructions of fibre optic cables• Fiber optics part II. – types of fibre optic connectors and polish types of fibre optic ferrules, fibre optic cable laying, fibre termination, testers and testing procedures• Racks – basic terms and standards, products offered and their typical use, examples, applications, custom solutions • Practical part – installation of fibre optic cable and patch panels, splicing and testing• Final test

What is the output of the training?All participants will receive a certificate which will authorise them to offer a system warranty for Solarix products. Besides this certificate, each participant will receive the materials used during the training (i.e. the printed presentations, product catalogues etc.). Each installation company will also receive a set of Solarix components and installation tools. The certificate validity period is 3 years.
