In part 5 of this study, we have learned from John’s testimony that The Word of GOD was in the world. It was He, Who came to

all the prophets, and speaking to them, as The Voice of GOD’S Word.

GOD--The Father worked by HIS Word through the prophets preparing The Way for HIS Son to fulfill HIS Promise by HIS

Word to come and be That Prophet, Whom GOD has sent.

But as John said, the world did not know Him. His Own people did not like to see His Manifestation of His Father’s Glory, or to hear The LORD speaking to them by Him, Who is The Voice of GOD.

As The Father spoke through Him to Moses, we learned that HE--The Father was in Christ reconciling the world unto HIMSELF.

The Jews knew only of One GOD, because The Son Perfectly reflected The Father’s Glory to them. But they wanted Moses to mediate between them and The Great Fire and of The Voice of

GOD’S Word, Who spoke to them.

When the time of the fulfillment of The Promised Prophet was at hand, The Word of GOD came to John the Baptist, to prepare the

way for The Son of GOD to come.

Although Jesus gave a clear revelation of Truth in His prayer to The Father, of HIM being The ONLY TRUE GOD, and He--The Son of GOD, being The Only begotten Son, Whom HE has sent,

many have become confused, as to which view is correct.

When John the Baptist bore record and said that he saw The Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and abiding upon The Son of GOD, he was saying that The Fullness of GOD was abiding upon Him.
