PT. Sentek Indonesia is strategically located at Kampung Becek, Tanjung Uncang, Batam-Island of Riau Province, Indonesia.

Batam Island is a thriving corner of Indonesia's Riau Province just 20 kilometres across the Strait or only 45 minutes by ferry from sophisticated Singapore.

The shipyard is only about 30 minutes drives from Waterfront City ferry terminal.

PT. Sentek Indonesia was first introduced as PT. Sentek Marine & Trading

in year 2000. Land reclamation and civil construction works commenced

shortly after. The building of the infrastructure, such as workshops, the

dry dock, the wharves, major equipment, etc, was fully completed within

a few years. Base on our unique skill, experience and remarkable

effective work control system, rapidly, we have expanded our shipyard. Nowadays PT. Sentek Indonesia has been developing from a small size

shipyard to one of the biggest shipyards in Batam Island.

Sentek Indonesia’s parent company is Sentek Marine & Trading Pte Ltd,

Singapore. Sentek Marine & Trading was incorporated in 1993 as a limited exempt private company with its principal activities in bunkering.

Located at Tanjung Uncang, Kampung Becek of Batam Island, the PT.

Sentek Indonesia is situated on 18 hectares of prime land. PT. Sentek

Indonesia actively involved in new construction and repair of tugboats,

barges, tankers, also provide chartering service of barges and tugboats,

and launching service.

Our quality service, dedication and commitment have helped us grow

tremendously over the year. As time being, we are in the process to

expanding our workforce as well as our facility to cater for our future

business growth.

���� New Ship Building

Shipbuilding is the major business activities of PT. Sentek Indonesia as a

shipyard. PT. Sentek Indonesia has produced numerous quality oil barges

and deck cargo barges which are classed under various international

marine classifications for both local and international markers.

���� Ship Repair

In addition to Shipbuilding, Ship repairing is one of the core business

activities PT. Sentek Indonesia. With the outstanding location, well

technical personnel and completed repair facilities, PT. Sentek Indonesia

is able to repair any type of vessels, barges, tugboats, cargo vessels ,

tankers, and has successfully built up a well reputation in repairing ships,

by this reason, PT. Sentek Indonesia has become one of the famous

shipyards in Batam island , Indonesia.

The operation of ship repairing division has been constantly growing.

Consistently, PT. Sentek Indonesia repairs more than 50 vessels every

year which 75% is from foreign countries.

Our services: Normal docking and repairs, collision repair, steel renewal

and repairs for hydraulic deck machinery, refer and air conditioning

system, navigation telecommunication equipment and other special

machinery, general surveys, special surveys, periodic maintenance repair,

conversions, life extension including cap surveys, lay-up and reactivation,

tank coating and painting work, machinery overhaul.

���� Launching Service

Another significant activity is the ship launching service. PT. Sentek

Indonesia is the pioneer shipyard in Batam Iisland who invest marine

pneumatic rubber fenders for launching, which can launch more than

300ft Barges.

���� Chartering Service

We also provide oil barges and tugs chartering service in Indonesia.
