SETTING PARENTAL CONTROLS Our digital boxes have an advanced level of Parental Controls that enables you to block

access to certain types of programming.

Your Interactive Program Guide makes it easy to find the entertain-ment you want to watch — view programs by channel, interest, time, or title. Here are some tips to help you make the most of it:Quick Menu • The Quick Menu provides shortcuts to key features. • To access Quick Menu from any screen, press the MENU button once.

Main Menu • The Main Menu provides access to all features. • To access the Main Menu from any screen, press the MENU button twice.

Basic Navigation • Yellow is always the highlight color. As you navigate listings using the remote, the highlight appears on screen to indicate the current selection. • Press the arrow buttons (left, right, up, down) that encircle the OK/ SEL button to move the highlight bar. • Press OK to make a selection. • Press the EXIT button to return to watching TV. Program Information • To access information for a program while viewing listings or watching TV, press the INFO button on your remote.

Search • Select a category from the Main Menu or Quick Menu to search Listings By Time, Listings By Channel, or By Genre such as Movies, Sports, Children, and more.

HOW TO LISTEN TO YOUR FAVORITE FM RADIO STATIONSChamplain Valley and Mad River Valley may

present challenges for FM radio stations, but

you can still enjoy great reception of your fav-

orite local and regional FM radio stations via

Waitsfield Cable. How? By hooking up your

stereo audio tuner to the coaxial cable used to

deliver your cable TV service.

Equipment Needed:(This is all available at no charge at our Main

Business Office in Waitsfield.)

• FM splitter (p/n FMTVD)

• Two 3’ RG-6 coaxial cables

• Matching transformer (May not be necessary

depending on your stereo audio tuner.)

Wiring Your Stereo Tuner:

1. At the cable set-top box, unplug the coaxial

cable from the ‘RF in’ or ‘Cable in’ port on

the back of your set-top box.

2. Next, connect that coaxial cable onto the

‘input’ port of the FM splitter. (The input is

the single port directly across from the two

ports labeled ‘FM’ and ‘TV’.)

3. Using one of the 3’ coaxial cables, connect

the ‘TV’ port on the splitter to the ‘RF in’ or

‘Cable in’ port on the set-top box.

4. Using the other 3’ cable, connect the ‘FM’ port

on the splitter to your FM stereo tuner. (Depend-

ing on the type of connector on your radio, you

may not need to use the matching transformer,

which adapts the coaxial cable (75 Ohms) to

a two-contact connector (300 Ohms) with

screws or spade lugs.)

5. Tune your favorite radio stations on your

stereo tuner just as you normally would.
