Ballet Fantastique continually reaches out into the community to fulfill our mission of keeping classical ballet vibrantly alive in our city through unique, community- centered, world-class training, educational, and performance experiences for young artists, audiences, andprofessionals. Through our Education and Outreach program, and with the support of our Community Partners, we bring high-quality productions to everyone in our community in engaging, innovative ways. Hundreds of youngsters in attendance for Ballet Fantas- tique's Cakewalk Ballet, which featured free tickets for kids. Many of them saw their first dance performance! As we grow, affordable pricing for our per- formances is key and ensures that we con- tinue to develop new audiences, maintaining an enthusiastic and dedicated following for our work. We alsooffer subsidized tickets for low-income community members through our "Passport to Dance" program. ,((,'s;n:;Star Scho/arsh;?s With your help, The Academy of Ballet Fan- tastique has made it part of our mission to never turn a talented child away from bal- let training for lack of funds. Together,we award hundreds of monthly tuition scholar- ships everyyear and ensurE: that theNorth- west's most talented dancers of tomorrow get the training that will take them there. These scholarships really do change lives and make a difference in the lives of young dancers. Ever;ence ])a.nCe.' Preeject Ballet Fantastique's Experience Dance! Project is a series of interactive elementary school partnerships paired with a concert of the highest caliber produced in Oregon's Hult Center for the Performing Arts. This dynamic, engaging project inspires audience members of a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and means while providing local dancers with the opportunity to give back to the community through informative presenta- tions. The school performances pairs Ballet Fantastique dancers with up to 6,000 children from Eugene and Springfield elementary and middle schools to foster an appreciation of dance in young people of all ages, backgrounds, and meansat no cost to the schools. We're giving dancers an opportunity to giveback to the community, while building a new generation of dedicated arts lovers, appeal- ing to the non-traditional theatergoer, and as- serting thevitality of classical ballet as a vibrant cultural art form. Every dollar invested in Ballet Fantastique is reinvested into our community through our ambitious, wide-reaching outreach and scholarship programs!
