You’ll help accelerate the gospel and move a country onto God’s agenda. CrossTalk Global is a high ROI, kingdom leverage play that provides locally delivered, easily accessible, world-class COMMUNITY ADVENTURE seminary education to early stage pastors in Cuba, Myanmar, Vietnam, Romania and India. CrossTalk provides it right in their own country, with seminary-trained teachers. The Country & It’s Many Religions India is a city alive with color, sights and sounds and teaming with 1.2 Billion people. Yet 97% of India’s people are without faith in Jesus Christ and 800 million have never heard of Jesus! Christianity is the third largest religion in India with about 30 million followers, or 2% of the population. The majority, 80 to 90% of the people of New Delhi, practice Hinduism, 13% Islam, 3% Sikh, .1% Buddhism. In the midst of this very religious city, with Christian persecution of the rise, our missional partner, CrossTalk Global is training Christian pastors to share the gospel. We’ll take a world religion tour in just a few days as we tour major religious venues around New Delhi. A Sikh House of Worship, Muslim Mosque, Bahai Lotus temple, a Buddhist temple and finally we’ll join Indian pastors from rural villages as they learn about the bible and how to be effective preachers of the Christian faith. The Faith Adventure We’ll experience the CrossTalk (crosstalkglobal.org) teaching of pastors on various days and enjoy time with major church leaders in India hearing lectures as to the state of the church in Delhi as well as CrossTalks plans to train pastors. We will share our leadership stories and or principles with the pastors and visit community impact projects being run by our Delhi partner, Cooperative Outreach of India (coiindia.org). The Sights There will be no shortage of touring major Indian sights such as a full day tour to Agra and the majestic white marble and stone mausoleum called the Taj Mahal. Nearby stands the beautiful Agra fort, an extensive citadel featuring wonderful architecture on palaces, halls, and pavilions. We’ll take a walking tour of Old Delhi, visit the India Gate and take in a sound and light show at the Red Fort in Delhi. We’ll have dinner at the world famous Karim’s restaurant in Old Delhi, open since 1913. You’ll be intrigued as you trace the paths of Gandhi, the Father of the nation and visit the site of his cremation as well as visit many elegant mosques and temples.
